|The Distributor shall not ship containers labeled by the chemical manufacturer or importer unless it is a GHS label||Chemical manufacturers and distributors must Complete hazard reclassification and produce GHS styled labels and safety data sheets.|
|Distributors receive an additional 6 months to complete shipments of old inventory.
By Dec. 1.2015, Distributors must comply fully with HCS requirements. (Grace period for shipments of old inventory ends.)
|June 1, 2016||Update alternative workplace labeling and hazard communication program as necessary, and provide additional employee training for newly identified physical or health hazards.||Employers must be in full compliance with revised HCS including complete training of employees on new hazards and/or revisions to workplace hazard communication program. Ensure all internal labels are updated, written Hazard Communication is updated and all SDS’s have been updated.|
